You can help by taking small steps that make a big difference. Your donation to Mano en Mano is a gift to the people of Nicaragua. We know it is not easy to decide where to invest your hard-earned philanthropic dollars. What makes us different is 100% of your donation will directly fund a project in Nicaragua. Private donors fund our administrative costs so you don't have to. Mano en Mano is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. All Donations are tax-deductible.

		Educate a Child When you sponsor a child you will change her life. Your support of just $65 a year includes school tuition, books, and a daily lunch. For many children their school lunch may be the best.

		Build a Better Roof Many families do not have the basic living necessities such as a roof over their heads to keep out the rain. With a one-time donation of $300, you can provide an entire family with a sturdy roof to protect them from the stormy conditions that invade their homes sometimes daily during the rainy seasons. Your donation would allow for the purchase of sturdy wooden posts to keep up the new roof, to provide safety and a long-term solution, rather than the makeshift scraps of material families typically use.
		Give the Gift of English For the one-time donation of $180 ($5/month), you can provide a student with 3 years of English classes. The classes meet daily, allowing the student to reach fluency in a shorter amount of time. The students have either expressed a general interest in learning English and/or want to incorporate the skill into their future plans as job opportunities come up. Through your gift, these students will have the advantage of English reading, writing, and speaking skills to help them better achieve their goals.
