Providing Aid for Haiti

Just one week after the 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit Haiti, killing nearly 100,000 people, Mano en Mano pulled together our efforts to help those affected. Mano en Mano, in partnership with a local Santa Clara restaurant called the Hut, raised $1,742. Mano en Mano then matched that amount, sending approximately $4,000 to Haiti. We provided aid to over 100 displaced families and salaries for extra teachers to teach to displaced children.
