You can help by taking small steps that make a big difference . . .
One of our most recent projects, we fund certain trade items like sewing machines and a horse and buggy that individuals can use on a regular basis so that they can be self-sustaining for themselves and their families. Providing just one item like a sewing machine can help many different women become self-sustaining for their families when going back to school as an older adult isn’t really an option, but certainly is for their children. Unfortunately many parents take their children out of school so they can help sell tortillas or other items in order to support the family, but with trade items being provided, this would not have to happen.
